Q: Who can come to "Church at the Lake"?

A: Everyone can come! You don't have to be a member to hang out!

Q: How do I get to Lake Yosemite?

A: The lake is northeast of the City of Merced. Take Gst. north (pass Mercy Hospital) and turn right on Bellevue Rd. Then turn left on Lake Rd. Drive until you see the lake entrance.

Q: Do I have to pay to get into the lake?

A: No, admission to the lake is free. Tell the gate worker that you are with Christian Life Center.

Q: Do I have to stay for the whole time?

A: Though our event ends at 3pm., you are welcome to stay as long as you want.

Q: What should I bring for the potluck?

A: A LARGE main dish and a side or dessert to share.

Q: What if I am not able to bring food for the potluck?

A: We still encourage you to come a enjoy all the festivities with us!

Q: Are there bathrooms?

A: Yes.

Q: Is there shade?

A: Yes, Lots of shade!

 

Q: What activities will there be?

A: After lunch we will have Horseshoes, Volleyball, Raffle, & Organized Games. Swimming is also available at an adjacent beach.

Q: Any recommendations on what I should bring?

A: Items you may normally to bring to the lake: Lawn Chairs, Sunblock, Blanket, Drinks, Kayaks, Fishing Pole, Cornhole, Games, etc. Though they are not a necessity, you are allowed to bring them.
